She was born in Albany on April 22, 1946 and attended Colonie Schools and Mohonasen High School in Rotterdam.
Linda worked for many years as an Office Manager for Park View Apartments, retiring in 2013.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lee Gladd; 2 sons, Peter (Wendy) Gladd and Larry (Eden) Gladd and her daughter, Sherri (John) St. Louis; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings and step siblings, including her sister, Vivian Padgett.
Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a celebration of her life to immediately follow at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 18, 2021 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels. Burial will be in the Spring in North Elba. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Community Hospice, 310 S. Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208 or to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-9959.
