Doris E. Waffle, 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Glendale Nursing Home. Doris was the daughter of the late Olin and Beatrice (Wright) Tuller. Doris was the devoted wife of over 53 years to the late Russell L. Waffle.

She was a proud member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Schenectady.

Doris was a very independent, strong woman, who enjoyed working for many years of her life.

She loved traveling with her husband, many of their trips were with the Shriners'. Doris liked to garden, enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Russell she was predeceased by her son Earl W. Smith, Jr. and her brothers; Kenneth and Harry Tuller.

Doris is survived by her children, Marilynn Smith, Donald (Ruth) Smith and Lisa (James) Winters, she is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close family members.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Schenectady Memorial Park, Schenectady, NY.
