Colonie- Adele Ayotte-Hoyt, 82, entered into eternal life on January 12, 2021 after a courageous battle against Covid 19.

Born in Albany on March 10, 1938 daughter of the late George and Mary Klinger.

She was a graduate of Colonie Central H.S. Class of 1956. Adele was employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield, NYS as Head of Communications for 20 years and after being retired for 10 years, worked for Schenectady City School District as a Paraprofessional. Adele's hobbies included gardening and jigsaw puzzles. Adele's one great love was helping her two sons, Frank and Nick when they were members of the Emerald Knights and Avant Garde Drum and Bugle Corps.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominick J. DelRa Sr. and her second husband, Leonard R. Ayotte; her siblings, George Klinger Jr., Phyllis Rothaupt and Carolyn Van Der Volgen.

She is survived by her husband, William H. Hoyt III; children, Francis D. DelRa of Latham, Dominick J. DelRa Jr. (Kate) of Largo, Fl., Michelle DelRa of Colonie; grandchildren, Laura Muscanell (Eric) of Charlton, Amanda Blackman of Nassau; great grandson, Carter Muscanell of Charlton.

In following her wishes, services will be held privately.
