Albany- John Henry Lipscomb, 82, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020 in Schenectady, New York. The son of the late Eric Lipscomb and Vinel Motley Lipscomb and the husband of the late Doreen Kathrine Morgan, John was born on August 28, 1938 in Coeymans, New York.
John is survived by his daughter, Tracey Cobbs, his sons John B. Lipscomb and Eric Lipscomb; his grandchildren, Deanna Lipscomb, La’Shaunna Lipscomb and Nathaniel Cobbs; his sisters, Sally Kirkley, Pearl Croxton, Janet McGrew, and Carol Chamberlain; his brothers, Eugene and James; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family thanks everyone for their condolences. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, funeral services will be private with interment at Graceland Cemetery in Delmar, New York in the spring.
