Schenectady- Richard J. Rose Sr., 51, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Richard was the son of the late Jean Oakley and Marvin Rose Sr.

Richard was a lifelong resident of Schenectady. He enjoyed roller skating and hunting and fishing. He was an extremely talented carpenter who could never be replaced.

He is survived by his two children, Holly Ann Rose and Richard J. Rose Jr. He was a proud grandfather to Blaine Schmiedel and Masyn Hyson-Rose. He will be missed by his siblings, Ronnie Robinson (Tina), Kim Albright, Tina Macerola (the late Joe), Marvin Rose Jr. (Deborah) and Vicky Rose.

A graveside service will be held on June 12, 2021 at 10am at St. Cyril Method Cemetery, Rotterdam. All are welcomed.
