Albany-

Joy Dublin, 65, of Albany, passed away suddenly October 12, 2020. Born in the Bronx, she is the daughter of the late Lawrence Dublin and Leovia Hayes.

Joy was a person of few words, but she was fiercely loyal and protective of those she cared about. She was a proud parent and grandparent.

Joy was huge Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoyed listening to oldies music. Her favorite shows were Iron Chef and Hell's Kitchen. Joy loved playing Bingo and was a video game enthusiast. She worked for South Mall Towers in Albany as a security guard, a position she was proud of.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Lawrence Dublin Jr.

Joy is survived by brother Larry Dublin, 4 daughters, 2 sons, 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday October 22 from 11am-12pm, with a service at 12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY 12205. Interment to follow at Graceland Cemetery

Social distance practices will be in effect, Chapel size will be limited as required by current NYS guidelines and masks are required in the building.
