A precious gift Greta Elizabeth Burgess, fondly known as “Greets” passed away at age 72 peacefully in the Lord at 1:10 am on July 22, 2020.

At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, siblings, relatives, and many friends. She also bids goodbye to a host of nieces and nephews, nephews in law and nieces in law, great nieces in law and great nephews in law, brothers in laws, sisters in laws and other relatives and friends.

Greta touched the lives of her family members, relatives and friends throughout the years and will forever be missed especially for her genuine smile, tender care, sweet love and support.

The service to celebrate the life of Greta E. Burgess will be held on August 1, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York 12205. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
