Albany- Elizabeth E. "Betty" Nolan, 84, passed away Wednesday November 13, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Nelson and Frances Parker.

Betty was a member of Blessed Sacrament. She worked at LaSalle School for Boys for over 30 years as an Administrative Assistant in the Finance Department. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, Greece, Ireland and Spain. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an award-winning master gardener who took great pride in her garden.

Betty was very close to her late sister, Rose Mittler and her husband Tom with whom she enjoyed many adventures.

Betty is survived by her children, Mary (Geoff) Gladding, Tim Nolan, and Patricia (John) Quirk; her grandchildren, Shana (Tony) Belsito, Marc (Marybeth) Bohl, Danielle Bohl, Samantha Bohl, Christina Gladding, Katie Nolan, Lauren (John) Hogan, and Molly (Nick Zapp) Quirk; her great grandchildren, Kelsey Bohl, Ryan Goettinger, Tyler Goettinger, Zachary Goettinger, Nathan Bohl, Jackson Bohl, and Kaiden Sheehan; her brother, Nelson (Cathy) Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like thank the staff of the Teresian House for their care and compassion for Betty.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 6:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Betty's memory to the Teresian House or the Alzheimer's Association.
