Catalina García fue llamada a la casa del señor, el 18 de Octubre del 2019. Le sobreviven su esposo Angel L. García-López, su hija Kathy García y Taron Boston, su hijo Luis García y esposa Mercedes Reyes- García, nietos Kendra, Kariana, Nasir, y muchos nietos y bisnietos. Nacida en Ponce, Puerto Rico, Catalina se mudó a Albany NY, con su esposo Angel y sus hijos en el 1989. Desde el momento en que llegó a Albany se convirtió en una miembra de la comunidad como voluntaria en, entonces llamada, Iglesia de San Patricio. Fue amada por muchos en la comunidad y apreciada por su familia. Catalina siempre quizo lo mejor para todos los que la rodeaban y trabajó sin cansarse para asegurarse de que nada se olvidara o se perdiera gracias a su don de organización. Una verdadera joya para este mundo, ninguna palabra podrá describir su forma de ser. Ella vivirá para siempre através de nuestro Amor, gestos amables y unidad como familia y comunidad.


Catalina García was called to the house of the Lord, on October 18, 2019. She is survived by her husband Angel L. García-López, her daughter Kathy García and Taron Boston, her son Luis García and wife Mercedes Reyes- García, grandchildren Kendra, Kariana, Nasir, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Catalina moved to Albany NY, with her husband Angel and their children in 1989. From the moment she arrived in Albany she became a member of the community and volunteered with the Church of St. Patrick. She was loved by many in the community and appreciated by her family. Catalina always wanted the best for everyone around her and worked without getting tired to make sure that nothing was forgotten or lost thanks to her gift of organization. A true gem for this world, no word can describe your way of being. She will live forever through our Love, kind gestures and unity as a family and community.
