ALBANY - Levirn (Moore) Williams departed her life peacefully on Sunday September 8, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Okolona, Mississippi a daughter of the late Ernest and Myrtle (Ivey) Moore.

She retired after working at various jobs for over 70 years.

Levirn was preceded in death by her brother, James Moore; her sisters Odella Moore, Aljury Rimmer and Daureen Stamps.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Alvin Jr. (Abby) Williams; her daughters, Mary (Dan) Knicrumah, Christine(Gaspon) Williams-Hooks, Ola-Mae (Timothy) Williams-Tune; one sister, Jenny Lou Bernette. She is also survived by a host of grandkids: Anika, Timia, Timyia, Darnell, Cardell, (Shannon), Jabari, Jacod, Jasiah, Sydnie, Nia, Winnie, Kenyatta, Kenya, Imonie, Alvin (JR), Alana, Noah, Rashana, Navian, Jamila, Osei, Akaida; great grandkids, nieces, nephews, and friends.


Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 12pm to 3pm with a celebration of Levirn's life to immediately follow at 3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. Online condolences may be expressed at www.NewcomerAlbany.com.
