Martise D. Williams transitioned peacefully at the Hudson Park Nursing Home on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the age of 46. Born in Albany, NY, she is the daughter of Tusheila Thompson and Jesse Thompson, Jr.

Martise was educated in both the Albany & Guantanamo Bay, Cuba DODDS School Systems. She continued her education, studying Business Administration at Bryant and Stratton College. Known for her outgoing personality, Martise loved to read, write poetry, dance, laugh and make others laugh. Martise cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with them every chance she could.

Martise is survived by her beloved sons, Kahlil, James, and Joshua Belland; grandson, Jayden Belland; parents, Jesse (Tusheila) Thompson, Jr.; brothers, Jesse (Michelle) Thompson III and Austin Durr; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 pm.
