In Memory Of
Fabiola Cadet
1976 - 2018

In Loving Memory of:

Fabiola Cadet, born in August 23rd, 1976, Jeremie, Haiti. She resided in Port-au-Prince, the nation’s capital until February 1996. In February of 1996, she emigrated to the United States to reunite with her mother who was living in Queens, New York. She then moved to Miami, Florida to attend Florida International University. Fabiola completed her studies at Florida International University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Public Administration in 2002. Around this time, she found her soulmate, Russell Cadet and got married in May of 2003. She has two children: Ethan, 13 years old and Mattan, 8 years old. If there was one thing about Fabiola, she enjoyed being with her family and continually seeing her boys grow each day! Fabiola was living her peaceful and healthy life with her family until March of 2013 when she was then diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. Through this difficult time, things had changed for her and her family! She had to endure chemotherapy, radiation, a single mastectomy, two brain surgeries, and a series of homeopathic natural treatments just to try and live her beautiful life. All of this never brought her spirits down, she always fought harder and knew God would be right by her side. As time went on, things started to take a rough turn around this time of year for Fabiola and it only seemed to be getting worse. After almost 6 years of fighting the diagnosis, she no longer able to fight anymore. On Friday December 7th, 2018, she passed away as a result of the disease spreading through multiple organs including her bones.

She was a devoted Christian woman who loved to sing praises unto the Lord any time she had a chance to, and the greatest friend one can ask for. Her strong faith and Christlike character have inspired everyone who encountered her. She loved the Lord with all her mind, heart and soul and was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist church till her last day.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Russell Cadet; Her two sons: Ethan, 13 years old and Mattan, 8 years old. Her mother, Marie Leonide Felix; Her siblings: Nathalie, Venessa, Baldwin, Erica, and Alexander, as well as her nieces and nephews and her other amazing family members.

She will be missed!
