TROY - Patrick Robert Murray, 78, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in East Greenbush, surrounded by his loving family.
Pat was born in Manhattan on November 21, 1939 and was the son of the late Patrick and Adeline (Dietz) Murray. He worked for the US Marshals Service as a deputy for many years before retiring. In his early years, he was a private chauffer in NYC.
Pat is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia (Ryan) Murray; his loving children, Sue Anne (Robert) Whitfield, Christopher (Diane) Murray, Kelly (Albert) Patricelli and Patti (Mark) Shufelt; grandchildren, Heath Whitfield, Evan Whitfield, Crystal Bullis, Ashleigh Whitfield, Christopher Murray, Kyle Murray, Eric Patricelli, Gina Patricelli, Scott Shufelt, and Toby Shufelt, great grandchildren, Cali Bullis, Mark Bullis, Emmett Murray, Brantley Murray, and Charleigh Stewart, several nieces and nephews and his faithful K-9 companion, Dolly.
In addition to Pat's parents, he was predeceased by his four brothers, Robert, Joseph, Thomas and Eugene and his two sisters, Dorothy Harris and Clara Allen.
As per Pat's wishes there will be no services.
