Jacqulyne was born on January 24, 1962 in Manning, South Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Willie C. and Ida (Riggins) Martin. She graduated from Troy High School in 1980 and also Central City Business Institute in Syracuse.
Jacqulyne worked as a travel coordinator for Key Bank for many years before retiring. She enjoyed children, spending time with family and cooking, where she was known for her macaroni salad. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she at one time was the Children's Ministry Director and choir member.
Jacqulyne is survived by her siblings, Anthony C. Martin, Verna L. Norwood, Michael (Jackie) Courtwright, Eric Tunstal, Colin B. (Elba) Martin, Mia D. Martin, Tosha Hutchinson, and Shanell Martin. She was a second mother to Imani Martin, Larry Smith and A'Nyra Everett. She is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 19th at Bethel Baptist Church, 2165 5th Avenue, Troy. Calling hours will be held prior from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will be in the Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
