Norman P. Carter, 71, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Albany, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 24, 2018.
Norman was the son of the late Norman Carter and Alma (Hankins) Carter. He was the devoted husband to Joyce L.Turner McKiever. Father of Norman Jr., Rodney, Andre Carter all of Albany. Also survived by his step daughter, Latricia Lambert (Dwayne) and step son Talbert Turner of Albany, NY
A Celebration of Life will commence at 12 p.m., Thursday October 18, 2018 at Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 513 Clinton Avenue, Albany, NY 12206. Viewing Hours will precede the ceremony from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 513 Clinton Avenue, Albany, NY 12206 in memory of Norman P. Carter.
