Albany-Amanda Rose "Rosie" Rivenburg, 29, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

Amanda is the daughter of Donna Floyd Rivenburg and Thomas Rivenburg. She is a graduate of Colonie Central High School, class of 2007. Amanda went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from SUNY Plattsburgh, Class of 2011.

Throughout her teenage years, Amanda played softball, was a Colonie Pop Warner Cheerleader and went on to cheer competitively. During high school and college Amanda worked for Dunkin Donuts and Price Chopper. After graduating college Amanda started her career with Living Resources in Albany in Dec. 2011; throughout her career, she earned many promotions, including scheduler, Q manager for Saratoga County then extending to include Columbia County and currently she was promoted to assistant director of the Day Program that included all five counties. An avid Mets fan, every birthday, Amanda and her dad, would go to a game together. Besides the Mets, Amanda was an avid football fan, always cheering on the NY Giants.

Amanda has touched so many people throughout the years; she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Along with her parents, Amanda is survived by her adored fur babies, pitbulls, Hazel, Jada and Banks; best friends, Rachel Motta, Jamison Carpenter and Michele Pacheco; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Amanda was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, David and Grace Sabatino Floyd, Sr.; paternal grandparents, William and Loretta Tuper Rivenburg, Jr.

The family will receive family and friends on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 3pm until 7pm at Christ our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, 12211, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10am. Burial will follow at St. Johns Cemetery, Sand Creek Rd. Colonie NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Amanda's name can be made to Out of the Pits, P.O. Box 2311, Albany, NY, 12220.
