Colonie- Diane E. Reis, 87, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Saturday, October 6, 2018. She was the daughter of Leland and Kathryn Dobbs. Diane is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, James F. Reis.
Diane worked as an independent typist and stenographer and then as a secretary at MTI Inc. in Latham until her retirement. Diane enjoyed quilting, sewing, traveling, visiting the Adirondacks and spending time with her family. Diane was a downhill skier and water skier and was seen kayaking on the lake in her eighties.
Diane is survived by her two sons, Matthew (Janice) and James (Heidi) Reis. Diane is also survived by his six grandchildren, Rebecca (Wayne) Carmack, Sarah (Nathaniel) Covert, Matthew (Caroline) Reis, Samuel Reis, Katie (Drew) Colberg and Andrew (Jessica) Reis, 10 great grandchildren, Christopher Carmack, Aidan, Gideon, Isla Covert, Matthew Reis, Natalie, Tyler , Sydney Colberg, Jacob Reis and Emily Reis.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
