Watervliet- June M. Skopp, 92, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2018 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany. The only child of the late George and Florence (Hohwiesner) Broadhurst, June was born on June 3, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Skopp and her grandson, Kenneth J. Carcia. She is survived by her children: Deborah (Bill) Dutko, Douglas (Joan) Skopp and Lori (John) Carcia. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in June’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN, 38148-0142.
