ALBANY- Bernard P. Alston Jr., 42, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.



Bernard attended the Albany City School District. He graduated from E.O.C with a Certification in building trade, he loved to fix and build things. Bernard had a passion for music. Whether it was rapping, spinning the turn tables, promoting or supporting others he was all in. Anything entertainment Bernard was on it. Bernard also loved to spend time with his family, especially his kids, nieces and nephews. Bernard’s favorite pass time was joking around. He was very funny. If you came across his path and he cracked on you just know that it was just his way of showing love.



Bernard leaves to cherish 2 daughters Nashayra and Ny’arie Alston and One son Jayden Alston. Two sisters Tarea Alston(Jauwan) and Thembi Alston. One brother Jermaine Alston(Jessica). Four Special Sisters Sharayah Cancer, Nyasia and Marie Frison and Demitrius Simms. Two Special Brothers Beecil Minley and Alan Oliver. His Favorite Aunt Jeanette Oliver(Aunt Nay-Nay), 2 Favorite Uncles Samuel and Otis Bunch. One favorite cousin Asheem Foulks and best friends Terrell Merritt, Jake Mott, Lisa Allen and Damien Kissee.



Bernard was Predeceased by his maternal grandparents Otis and Maxine Bunch. His Paternal Grandmother Maye Francis Hardwick-Alston. His sister Karina Alston, niece Maxine Alston and his God mother Inetter Andrews.



Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 10:00am-11:00am with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
