Cohoes- Martin J. Killian, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2017. He was the son of the late Martin and Mary Killian. Martin is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Diane M. Killian.

Martin was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping and golfing. He enjoyed watching and playing sports and was big New York Giants and New York Mets fan. Martin was a devoted member of the Colonie Elks and Cohoes Rod and Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, Martin is survived by his four children, Jeffrey M. Killian (Patricia), Kevin M. Killian, Sara C. Killian and Laura M. Bandura (Keith).
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Briana, Fiona, Jeffrey Killian, Emily, Molly, Brenden Killian, Conor (Alexis), Matthew Walsh, Andrew, Gregory, Allison and Johnny Bandura, and one great grandchild, Caysen Walsh. Martin also leaves behind his siblings, J. Gary Killian (Connie), Patricia Breton (the late Jack Breton), and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Martin will be missed by his beloved cat, Tequila and several grand-dogs and cats.

Martin is predeceased by his sisters, Mary, Mildred, June and Janet.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY 12110. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
