Michael James Frechette, 58, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 with his loving family by his side.

Born in Albany, the son of Frances (Vinten) Frechette and the late Robert Frechette.

Michael was a lifelong resident of the Albany area and grew up in the City's North-end.

He was an avid Yankee fan, outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, and will always be a loyal Cleveland Browns fan!

Michael will always be remembered for his fun-spirited nature. He loved being "Grampy" to his two granddaughters, Grace and Lucy, and step-granddaughter Amaya.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his entire family including the Anson Family, with whom he remained close with.

Besides his mother, Michael is survived by his loving daughters, Angela M. (Chad) Ahr and Michelle K. (Ox) Frechette, and cherished granddaughters; Grace and Lucy. Michael was the brother of; The late Robert (Christine) Frechette, David (Robin) Frechette, the late Linda Frechette, the late Lillian Kirk, Paul Frechette, Peter (Tina) Frechette, Patty Ann Cervantes and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Monday November 13, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
