Scotia - Brian A. Gosier, 56, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 12 with his loving family by his side. Brian was born in Watertown, to William and Edna (Russell) Gosier.

Brian graduated from Linton High School. He received an A.A.S. degree in Electrical Technology from SCC College in 1984. Brian also holds a degree in Systems Maintenance Technology. He most recently worked at GE Research as a Maintenance Technician.

For many years, Brian had been a motorcyclist and enjoyed cycling activities, such as AM Jam, with his club friends. Brian was always ready to help out and enjoyed people. His smile and laughter will be missed by so many.

Brian is survived by his parents; his daughter, April Gosier; brothers, Kevin (Donna) Gosier and Glenn Gosier; a grandson, Schuyler Wells and granddaughter, Samantha Hill. He is also survived by his nephew, Kyle Gosier. His loyal companion, Chubby, will greatly miss Brian.

A Memorial Service for Brian will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Friday, September 16 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The family will be having a Memorial Gathering in Celebration of Brian's Life to be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in Brian's name to be made to your favorite charity or the Mohawk Humane Society.
