Loudonville - Sharon A. Rasmussen, 70, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born July 1, 1952 in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ann Rasmussen.

Sharon is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego and received her master’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany. She was a beloved elementary teacher for over 30 years at Abram Lansing Elementary School in Cohoes, NY, retiring in 2008.

Sharon loved spending time with her family, gardening, and golfing. She especially enjoyed her winters in Jupiter, Fl.

Sharon is survived by her siblings, Donald (Chrisse) Rasmussen, Barbara Rasmussen, and Kristine (Ethan) Hartenberg. She is a cherished aunt to Bryan, Matthew, Ringo and Ella, and a great aunt to Ava and Emily.
