LATHAM-
DiNuzzo, Martha H., 86, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at St. Peter's Hospital on January 27, 2023, with her loved ones by her side.
Martha was born and raised in Watervliet, NY, to the late Herman J. and Helen Shover.

She attended the Catholic school system and later attended night classes at Troy High School to receive her High School Diploma in May 1983. This was a proud moment for her family and herself. Martha attend Maria College in Albany, NY.

Martha loved to bowl and was very good at it with an average of 165 which is impressive in her era of bowling. Martha enjoyed reading books on angels and other religious books. She enjoyed playing pinochle along with other card and family board games. Other hobbies were knitting, crocheting, sewing and traveling. Martha loved and enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Martha was extraordinary minister for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Watervliet, NY, starting in 1981 until it's closing for over 20 years of service.

She worked in several occupations at Central Market Watervliet, bookkeeper at KMart in Latham and Pepsi in Menands. She spent her last 23 years as a clerk at New York State Retirement System in Albany.

Martha is predeceased by her loving husband Eugene E. Di Nuzzo Sr.; two siblings Frank and Herman Shover; her son in law Frank G. De Long; her
grandson Gregory A. Di Nuzzo;
Martha is survived by her three children, Eugene E. Di Nuzzo, Marsha A. De Long, Robert (partner Lori Macaulay) Di Nuzzo; her brother Bruce Schauvin, three grandchildren Brandon M. Di Nuzzo, Illissa Di Nuzzo and Keri A. Di Nuzzo and a host of relatives and friends.

A Celebration Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary CC in Watervliet, NY immediately following an interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery

In lieu of flowers the Di Nuzzo family would like donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and The Alzheimer's Association.
