Lennart H. Peterson, 78 of Albany, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 26, 2022 with his family at his side.
He was born and raised in the Bronx to the late Helmer and Elin Peterson. After serving several years in the U.S. Army, he attended Albany Medical Center School of Nursing where he obtained his nursing diploma. He went on to be a registered nurse for the remainder of his career at the Albany Stratton V.A.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Peterson, his children, Susan (Scott) Gundrum, and Scott (Marianne) Peterson, as well as his five grandchildren, Michaela, Ryan, Kara, Amelie, and Chloe. He is also survived by many cousins in Sweden.
Services to be made at the discretion of the family.
