Carol M. Felitti, 76, peacefully entered into eternal life at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn on Thursday, November 24, 2022. Born on October 22, 1946, she was the only child of the late Joseph P. and Dorothy M. Bartoski.

Carol was born and raised in Troy, NY. She attended St. Patrick’s grade school and was a 1965 Graduate from Troy High School. Carol worked many years as a home health aide with the Visiting Nurse Association and St. Josephs Provincial House in Latham. Carol was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. Carol was an avid church goer and loved her lord Jesus Christ. She cherished her animals and enjoyed looking after and spending time with her grandchildren over the years. Carol loved to talk about her family and help those around her.

Carol is survived by her three children, Deborah (Thomas) Dougherty, Gerald Felitti, Jr. and Joseph (Nicole) Felitti. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Christine Dougherty, Shannon (Joseph) Portela, Meghan Dougherty, Erin Dougherty and Kamryn Dougherty; Kyle Felitti, Gerald Felitti and Austin Felitti; Lizzie Felitti and she was pre-deceased by two grandchildren, Joseph Felitti, Jr. and Susan Canfield. Carol also leaves behind many great-grandchildren, relatives and cherished friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 2nd beginning at 5 PM with funeral ceremony led by Carol’s long-time friend Pastor Dave Martin promptly at 7:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home located at 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be at a later date at the convenience of family.
