Denise O’Grady, 73, passed away on Monday, August 8th, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born in Schenectady, New York in 1948 she was the daughter of the late Anne and Clarence J. Wilkie. Denise is also predeceased by the love of her life; her first husband Brian R. O’Grady.

Denise was a very strong woman; living her life with a determination to keep going in life until she could no more.

She went to Mohonasen High School and married at the sweet age of 17 and had two children, Steven R. O’Grady and Theresa M. Ringrose.

Denise had a beautiful heart; a kind soul and was beautiful on the outside as well.

She is now out of pain, holding onto Jesus. Seeing His smiling face.

She never wanted to grow old instead wished to be with Jesus sooner.

In addition to her parents and husband, Denise is predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Carol and Vince Ferraro and their son Jeffery Ferraro and her niece Tracy Fuller.

She is survived by her sister Marilyn Moncsko (Richard), her sister Barbara Walsh, many nieces and nephews and one granddaughter. Denise will also be missed by her loving dog Snuggles; he brought her so much joy.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 11am-1pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205. A service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
