WATERVLIET----- Lee Anne Ross, age 65, passed away on August 5, 2022 at her residence surrounded by family after a brief illness.

She was born in Canton, NY, the daughter of the late Harlan and Norma Lowry. She was also predeceased by her son Douglas Bates and sister Midge Fountain.

Lee Anne worked for Key Bank and Community Bank before her retirement in 2021.

Lee Anne loved spending time with family over coffee. She was an active quilt maker and enjoyed spending time sewing with her sisters.

Lee Anne is survived by her husband, Mike Ross; sons: Wesley (Susan) Bates, Mike Jr. (Brenda) Ross, Jason (Leigh) Ross and Thomas Ross; sisters: Bonnie (Bill), Carol and Janet (Jim); brother, Harlan (Debbie); brother-in-law, Basil Fountain; five grandchildren: Sean and Noah Bates, Sophie, Madison and Kyle Ross. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Lee Anne’s life will be held privately with her family.
