Latham - Gregory Michael Martini (Nash), 34, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 with his loving family by his side after a lifelong battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Gregory was the son of Andrea and Larry Nash and Michael and Holly Martini.

Greg loved to be with family and friends, rooting his brothers on during their various sporting events and family vacations to Myrtle Beach. Greg co-authored two books with his great friend, Lisa Chelkowski. Before the disease progressed, Greg loved to cook. Recently he searched the internet for recipes and shared them with all his Facebook friends. His body may have deteriorated, but his sense of humour and sharp comments will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Gregory is survived by his brothers Zack (Ali) and Jake (Alyssa) Nash; grandparents Ann (“Mamie”) Guerro, Jim and Maxine Nash; aunts Denise (Joe) Piazza, Donna (Joe) Quickenton; uncles Gary (Sandy) Guerro, Marc (Laura) Mattiske, Jim (Lisa) Nash, Mark (Cheri) Nash, Arthur (Maxine) Mattiske and many cousins.

Gregory is predeceased by grandparents Daniel (“Poppy”) Guerro, George Mattiske and Aunt Ditty.

The family would like to thank Dr. Graney and Dr. Neilley at Shaker Pediatrics for all their support and care throughout his life.

Services will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Make-A-Wish of Northeast NY at http://neny.wish.org
