Born in Albany, NY, on June 3rd, 1989, he was the son of Carolyn (Johnson) Hill and Robert W. Hughes Jr. Loving father of three daughters Natalia G. (Frances) Isabella M. (Rebecca) and Sophia R. Hughes (Victoria- his longtime partner.) Brother to Thomas C. Johnson, Lynnea G. (Erik,) A’shon W., Robert C., and Tyler M. Hughes. Survivors also include grandparents: Sheila J. and Robert W. Hughes Sr., Arlene F., and the late Kenneth L. Johnson. He had five uncles and five aunts. He was the uncle of six nephews and two nieces, and numerous cousins and friends. He adored and loved everyone.
Dustin was a graduate of RCS High School Class of 2008 and also studied IT at Bryant and Stratton College. He was an avid gamer, skateboarder, and stocks day trader. He will forever be remembered for his most beautiful infectious smile, his heart of gold for everyone, and his loving patience. He left a lasting impression on all who met him. Dustin will forever be missed by all. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Coeymans, NY.
Relatives and friends are invited to say their final goodbyes at New Comer Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022. Calling hours are from 12pm-1pm followed by a service from 1pm-2pm. Masks are required inside of the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
