Michael was the son of the Marie (Michael) Carpenter and the late Thomas Carrigan.
Michael was the devoted husband to the late Nancy (Carrol) Carrigan.
Michael in now in Heaven where you can find him announcing baseball events, listening to the Beatles and enjoying a little Karaoke.
In addition to his mother and step-father, Michael is survived by his brothers Thomas (Connie) and Joseph Carrigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Betty Carpenter for all of her help through the years.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Wednesday January 26, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home, starting with the Knights of Pythias Service at 4. Entombment will be in the spring in Graceland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association - Albany 4 Atrium Drive, Albany, NY 12205 or to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc. 139 South Lake Avenue, Albany, NY 12208 in Michael's memory.
