SCHENECTADY-Linda F. Antonacci, 73, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday August 29, 2021, after a courageous battle with ALS.

Linda was born in Albany NY, to the late Edward and Elizabeth Burckhard. She married the love of her life, Robert D. Antonacci, and became a member of the Schenectady community. Linda’s greatest source of pride came from being a devoted wife, loving mother, and loyal friend. She touched the lives of many families while caring for her “babies” at the Wildwood Early Child Care Program and, most recently, The Magic Kingdom. She was a long time member of the Hope Club. She will also be remembered for her exceptional ability to maintain a spotless home, finding deals at Boscovs’ and spending time at Cossayuna Lake, NY.

Linda is survived by her children Robert (Caitlin) A. Antonacci and Joanne Dymond. She is the cherished grandmother of Gary Jr, Christopher, Samantha, Garrick, Andrew and Douglas. She has four great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Edward and Elizabeth Burchard, her sister Betsy and her husband Robert D. Antonacci.

A memorial service for Linda will be held on Saturday September 4th 2:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd, Watervliet. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at noon. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The family requests that everyone wears a mask regardless of vaccination status.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Regional Center, 19 Warehouse Row, Albany NY 12205. The family would like to thank the ALS Center and Hospice for the care and support given to Linda.
