It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca L. Sutton of Greenfield Center, NY. She passed away Wednesday morning July 28, 2021 in Saratoga Hospital. She was born November 2, 1975 to Kathy Eddy and the late Robert W. in Lyons, Illinois. She was a beautiful, much loved and cherished person with a kind and giving soul. She was not only a devoted and compassionate friend to many people but also a passionate friend of countless animals, either through her work rehabilitating injured wildlife or her work with clients and their pets at the Greenfield Animal Hospital. She adored all of her furry and reptilian family members, of which there were many.

Rebecca (Becky) was a loving and supportive wife and mother. She was a fantastic cook and had an abundant knowledge of herbs and plants. She was an ardent supporter of Save the Bees. Becky loved to read and was knowledgeable on many subjects of which she loved to discuss. She was always ready and available to help her many friends and especially engaged in mentoring her young coworkers. Becky loved Disney World, and all things Disney and would go there as often as she could.

Rebecca is survived by her husband Eric Sutton and daughters Emma Sutton and Alex Sutton of Greenfield Center, NY., mother Kathy Eddy of Glens Falls, NY., sister Amy Connerty of North Riverside, Il. and mother-in-law Diane Tortolero of Lake Luzerne, NY.

In addition to her father Robert W. Eddy, she was predeceased by a brother Brian Eddy, Grandparents Dick and Martha Stuart, Jim and Dolores Younger and Robert M. Eddy.

The family would like to thank all of the caring nurses, nursing assistants and staff at Saratoga Hospital D2 for their kind care and support during her recent illness.

A memorial celebration of life will be held in the near future and announced accordingly.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to your favorite animal charity or facility or the American Cancer Society in her name.
