Dominick “Skip” DellaRocco, 89, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at St Peter’s Comfort Care Unit.
Born in Rotterdam, NY, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Effie Sherman DellaRocco, the brother of the late Patty Sanders and Patrick DellaRocco, and the brother-in-law of the late Victor, Albert and Aldino Ciancetta.
Skip worked as a Service Superintendent for the Tri City area at Niagara Mohawk for over 40 years.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Mary Ciancetta DellaRocco, as well as his loving children, Laura Crotty (Hugh), Dominick DellaRocco, Patty Westover (Gary) and Nancy DellaRocco (Ellen Mills); his sister, Joan Davi (Sal), brother-in-law, Donald Sanders; brother-in-law, Mario Ciancetta (Muriel); his caring grandchildren, Mary and Adam Crotty, Tom, Amy, Maria, Sarah, Rachel and Stephanie DellaRocco, Greg and Dan Westover, Lily Mills and great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Nicholas, Allessandra, Lillian, Kenneth as well as many caring nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
