Christopher Cornelius Dallas, 53, soared up to Heaven's gates on Monday, April 26, 2021, with his loving family by his side.

Christopher was born on October 24, 1967 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He attended Poughkeepsie city schools and graduated with a high school diploma, as well as an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Mildred Elley. Christopher held many jobs and was a good and devoted worker. He relocated to the Albany/Troy area and there he remained for the remainder of his life. He had many close friends and was loved by many. Christopher was a loving and supportive father and loved his family.

Christopher is predeceased by his father, Alphonso C. Williams of Poughkeepsie.

Christopher is survived by his partner of 20 years, Renee; his sons, Amaru, Alavell, Markqwill; his daughter, Tiesha; and his stepchildren, Cherlynn, Stephanie and Mandy. He is also survived by his mother, Mary L. Dallas of Troy, NY; brothers, Ronald, Donald, Karl, James, Lord and Larry; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In his free time, Christopher liked to do things that stimulated his mind, such as playing chess. He also liked to explore and, of course, eat. He was very good at dealing with anything mechanical. He was skilled at fixing car parts and machines and loved to take things apart and put them back together. He was also very passionate about music and had an incredible ear that paid very close attention to detail. Finally, Christopher was very vocal about his ideologies on black culture and the world that we live in. He would often voice his opinion and teach others about our corrupt society.

Family and friends may pay their respects at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 pm.
