Troy- Imani Jacqulyne-Marie Martin, 24, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021. Imani was the daughter of Anthony (Elizabeth) Martin and Renea (Terry) Daye. She was the loving partner to Dilan Khurey. They were together three and a half years.

Imani enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking and baking for them. She was an avid cheerleader who loved to sing and dance. She had a fond enjoyment of nail art and loved to do others nails. As her best friend best described her "She was a super Mom".

In addition to her parents and partner, Imani is survived by her children, Cortez and Anais Khurey; brother, Larry (D'Amber) Smith; sister, Shakira (Arthur) Johnson; best friend, Jewel Sanabria and Shameeka Pompey; uncle, Colin (Elba) Martin, Michael (Jackie) Courtwright, and Eric Tunstal; aunt, cousin, and godmother, Mia Martin; and godmother, Stacey Pompey.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Sunday March 7, 2021 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
