Latham- Martha M. Dewey, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Martha was the daughter of the late Herbert and Sophia Petteys. She was united in marriage to the late David Dewey on August 2, 1955 and were happily married for 39 years.

Martha enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. She was also an avid painter who loved to sneak a little daisy into every painting that she carefully created. Martha was well known for her glamorous ways and was a proud member, and officer, of the Red Hat Society in Vero Beach, Florida.

Martha is survived by her children, Michael (Deborah) Dewey, Stephen (Christine) Dewey, Diana (Wilson) Zaabel, Christine Pisano, Karen Enslin, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren who she adored and spoke of often.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Ali Mirza from Schenectady Center, Dr. Rufus Collea of NYOH, and all the many support staff who treated her during her illness.

Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Ronald McDonald House.
