Linda Ann Schaum [Jansch], 69, of Slingerlands, NY (formally West Sayville, New York), passed away on January 12, 2021 in Albany, New York.
Linda was born on February 16, 1951 to John E. Jansch and Alma Jansch [Hock] in Bayshore New York. She graduated from Sayville High School in 1969.
Her hobbies/interests included boating on the Great South Bay, sunning on Fire Island, crabbing at Sayville Marina, whale watching, cheering on the New York Jets, and spending as much cuddle time with her grandbabies as possible.
Linda is survived by her four children, Chad, Brett, Katie, and Leah, their spouses Danielle, Sue, Mario, and Jeremy, her nine grandchildren, Devin, Aidan, Jake, Mario, Cecilia, Ben, Mae, Shane, and Hazel, and her sister Nancy Blaquiere.
A celebration of Linda’s life is planned for this July on Long Island. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital http://giftfunds.stjude.org/LindaJanschSchaum
