Glenmont~

Joshua John LaMere Myer, 25, of Glenmont, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 21, 2020.

Born in Albany on April 12, 1995, Joshua "Yo Man " was the son of John LaMere and Sharon Myer.

Joshua has lived in the Capital Region his entire life, having resided in Ravena, Selkirk, Rensselaer and lastly Glenmont.

He received his education from Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School, class of 2013.

Joshua was employed as a painter in construction. His hobbies and interests included; motorized bikes, herbal culture, conspiracy theories and the outdoors. He was also an entrepreneur. Josh was artistically inclined, he enjoyed spending his free time creating raps and listening to music. He leaves behind much cherished creation.

Josh was compassionate, kind and loving. He will be sorely missed.

In addition to his parents John and Sharon, Joshua is survived by his sister Alexandria VanDerpoel, a niece Nadia Renee Awad, his brother Pasquale Tuscano James III, and grandfather Gregory Harold Myer.

Josh was predeceased by his brother, Johnie W. LaMere, Jr., as well as his grandmothers; Marjorie Elizabeth Myer and Patricia (Richard) LaMere.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday September 26th at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.

The funeral service will be held privately.
