GLENMONT- Jean E. (Caldwell) Rosekrans O’Connor, 81, of Van Allen Apartments died August 4, 2020 at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Jean was born July 13, 1939 in Belfast, Ireland. She came to America and worked at Cluett Peabody and then for the New York State Senate. Her retirement years were filled volunteering for the Hibernian Hall and the Catholic Women’s Service League. She was kind and generous.

During her later years, she continued to be blessed with wonderful caring friends: Mary, Madeline, Susan, Barbara and Lois. Jean always appreciated everything you all did, even when she pretended to be “mad.”

Jean was predeceased by her first husband, Fred Rosekrans and her second husband, David (Buddy) O’Connor.

She is survived by her two brothers: John Caldwell (Ann) and Hilary Caldwell, both of Ireland and her stepson, William O’Connor, North Carolina.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Ireland.

Jean’s life will be celebrated at a later date. To remember Jean, surprise someone with a phone call or a card.
