Cohoes- Frank J. Schoonbeck, 65, passed away at St. Peters Hospice on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Frank was the son of the late John and Martha Schoonbeck. Frank is predeceased by his loving wife Dolores Schoonbeck and his son Justin Schoonbeck.

Frank was a working musician since 1970 and played in many cover and original bands. He released several of his own albums of original music and had more in production. Frank loved going to concerts and movies and also enjoyed riding his bike, reading, camping and traveling. Frank was always around to help anyone in need with home improvements but above all Frank enjoyed taking care of his family. Friends and family will always cherish his sense of humor.

Frank is survived by his two daughters Lucinda Caruso (Ryan) and Lisa Seymour (Brad), his three grandchildren, Kieran Caruso, and Sam and Jane Seymour. He is also survived by his siblings John Schoonbeck, Donald Schoonbeck (Colleen), George Schoonbeck (Mary Ann), Steven Schoonbeck (Michele) and Judy Schoonbeck. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank will be missed by his two cats, Monkey and Apollo.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Frank’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
