1942 - 2019

Albany- Joseph F. Frodyma, Jr. ,77, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Joseph was the son of the late Joseph Frodyma, Sr. and Frieda Gregorewski Frodyma.

Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Chrostowski.

Joe honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam war era. Joe was a member of the American Legion and he enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams the Yankees and the Giants.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Karen Erwin (Robert), son, Joseph T. Frodyma, brothers, James Frodyma and Robert Frodyma (Paula). Also surviving are many loving relatives and friends.

Karen and Joseph would like to especially thank Joan Frodyma for her loving care and support for Joe during his courageous battle with cancer. Joan has truly been a God send to all.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - Colonie Chapel, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, New York on Monday November 11, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday November 12, 2019 at 9:00 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals Chapel. The burial will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Joe's memory.
