Marilyn was the daughter of the late Edward and Marian Allen.
She began working for NYS where she met her husband Eugene. She worked at Albany Medical Center in the Speech Pathology Dept. Marilyn was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church where she was part of their Annual Bazaar, and ceramics group. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and her husband loved to travel, go to the movies and created many cherished memories with their family. Marilyn will be dearly missed.
Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years Eugene Lubinski.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Deborah (Jeff) Mailhotte and David (Valarie) Lubinski; Maureen Apjohn; grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, and Matthew; great granddaughter, Madison Marie; and cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 on Monday, August 19, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave, Albany, NY at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY at 12:00 pm, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
