Schenectady - Virginia E. Olsen, 74, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019. Virginia was the daughter of the late Ernest and Helen Roth.
Virginia was the devoted wife to the late John Olsen.

Ginny enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.
Ginny was known to have a great personality and always brought smiles and laughter to those around her.

Ginny is survived by her daughters, Virginia (Anthony) Weldon-Thompson, Michele L. Weldon, Kim (Jerry) Splunge; her step-children, Beverly Olsen,
Kathy Olsen, Debbie Olsen, Crystal Olsen, John Olsen, Jr., Tommy Richmond. She is survived by her grandchildren, Tabatha, Tammy, Jennifer, Kevin,
Lisa, Monica, Jessica, Bridget, Cordell, Angelina, Julia; and great grandchildren. Ginny is also survived by her brothers, Mark and Ron Roth
and many loving relatives and friends.

Ginny was predeceased by her daughter, Denise Fontanelli; her step-daughter, Ruth Ann Olsen; her late siblings.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 4:00 pm.
