Roseann Malloy passed away peacefully on January 16, 2019 at the age of 90.

Born in Albany, New York on November 7, 1928, she was predeceased by her parents John and Mildred Preville Stickler. Her beloved husband Donald F. Malloy of 23 years passed away in 1973. In her earlier years, she worked at Ford’s Tavern, the Albany Jewish Community Center and with the New York State Nurses Association. She was a talented Quilting teacher at the H.B.K Village of Colonie Senior Center for many years and showed her love through creating unique quilts for her friends and family.

She was devoted to and is survived by her sons Gerald Malloy (Linda), Brian Malloy (Cheryl), Kenneth Malloy (Kathy) and her daughter, Donna Ferlazzo (Sal). She had a wonderful relationship with her grandchildren, Theresa Ferlazzo Marcello, Donald Ferlazzo, Kevin Malloy, Justin Malloy, Kenneth Malloy, Sean Malloy, and Keegan Burke who have collectively given her 8 amazing greatgrandchildren. She deeply loved her family and friends and cherished time spent with them. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Calling hours are on Tuesday, January 22 from 4-7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. The parish family of Christ the King will gather at the funeral home at 4:30 pm for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. A Catholic Mass will be held at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumpter Avenue, Guilderland, at 10 am on Wednesday, January 23. Our dear mother will be interred next to her husband Donald at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
