Richard S. Oliver, 45 of Schenectady NY, passed away January 8, 2019 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer, at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany NY.
Richard was born in Troy NY, on March 20, 1973 to loving parents Archibald and Ae’sook (Kim) Oliver.
Richard attended and Graduated from New Life Academy in Schenectady in 1992. Richard has two children Tyler R. (20), Zachary M. (19) Oliver, both of Schenectady from a prior marriage to April Mais. In 2012 Richard and Fiancé Andrea Avery of Schenectady, welcomed Makenzie M. Oliver (6). Another pride of Rich’s life was working with FedEx for six years.
A true passion of Richards was a good game of poker. He was a faithful patron of the Rivers Casino in Schenectady NY.
Survived by loving Fiancé Andrea Avery of Schenectady NY, Children: Tyler Oliver, Zachary Oliver, Makenzie Oliver. parents: Archibald and Aesook (Kim) Oliver, brother Michael Oliver and adoring nieces.
A memorial service in honor of Richard will be held January 26, 2019, at Bethel Full Gospel Church, 3625 Guilderland Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306. Services start at 2pm.
