Scott D. Meek (50) of Albany, NY passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. An amazing & wonderful father, son, brother, spouse and friend, Scott’s passion and love for bowling, golf, and car racing were passed onto his children.

Scott’s smile, laugh, and humor will be missed dearly. He’s survived by his mother June Hoffman, son Tyler Meek, daughter Patricia (PJ) Meek (Kristen), and brothers Todd (Brittany) Quickenton, David (Karen) Hoffman, and Brian (Laura) Hoffman. He’s also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews, and partner Michele. He was predeceased by his father David T. Meek and stepfather Ronald R. Hoffman.

In addition to his immediate family, Scott will be deeply missed by his CDTA and TU Center families where he worked for 27 and 10 years respectively.

A funeral service to celebrate Scott's life will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Visitation will be held from 2-4pm prior to service.
