ALBANY- Michael J. O’Sullivan, passed away suddenly on December 20, 2018 at home.
Michael was predeceased by his father Daniel J. O’Sullivan and his grandfathers: Daniel J. O’Sullivan, Anthony Giunta; his grandmothers: Ann O’Sullivan and Jane “Geez” Giunta.

He was born in Troy, NY. Michael was a US Army veteran, serving from 1986-88 in the AMEDD Regiment. While he was stationed in Washington State, he received combat medic training, leading to him becoming an Emergency Medical Tech Specialist and Ambulance Technician.

After living in Washington State over 15 years, he moved back to NY in 2004. He worked as a car salesman in Washington and New York for over 25 years..
Michael enjoyed family gatherings, and creating new memories and lots of laughter reminiscing about the old ones. He enjoyed playing cards near a family camp fire or a roulette wheel at the casino. His greatest comfort came from spending time with his brother taking apart and rebuilding their motorcycles. They would go to swap meets, fundraisers and on long bike rides together.

Michael is survived by the love of his life, daughter, Kaytlyn O’Sullivan; cherished mother, Eileen A. Holohan and respected step father, Timothy P. Holohan; brother, best friend and hero, Daniel J. (Fran) O’Sullivan; beloved uncles: Anthony “Godfather” Giunta and Angelo (Pat) Giunta; beloved aunts: Flo Giunta, Jane (Tim) Young, Sheila O’Sullivan; loving cousins: Richard, Lori and Tony (Michelle) Giunta.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189.
