Niskayuna- Paul A. “Papa” Hauser, 72, passed away with his family by his side on December 5, 2018. Born on March 31, 1946 in Kingston, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Vesta (Moore) Hauser. Paul was the Vice President and part owner of Hauser Trucking, Inc in Watervliet along with his brother Mark. Paul was a proud life member of the Kinderhook Elks #2530. He was a sensitive, yet tough man, that touched many hearts everywhere he went. Everyone that met Paul liked him instantly and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dianne; his children: Michael (Michele) Hauser, Mathew (Melissa) Hauser and Marianne (David) Hauser; his beloved grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Samantha Hauser, Andrew Hauser and Christopher Hoffa; his brother Mark Hauser; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will also be missed by his granddog, Tobie and his grandcat, Max.
Memorial visitation will be from 1 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, December 15 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
