LOUDONVILLE- Patrick J. “Mickey” McGuire, 83, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
Patrick was born in North Albany to the late John and Anna McGuire on May 10, 1935. He graduated from P.S. #20 and the former St. Vincentian Institute in the class of 1953. Mr. McGuire was a pressman at Williams Press Inc. in Menands, and Clarity Publishing Company in Albany for a total of 25 years. He was last employed by the NYS Assembly Printing Dept. as their distribution coordinator for a total of 20 years. Mr. McGuire was a Colonie Democratic Committeeman for 10 years. He served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1958-1960 in Korea. He attained the rank of SP 4.
He is survived by his wife, Mary K., of 57 years, his son, Richard J. McGuire, of Clifton Park.
He is predeceased by his brother, Jack McGuire.
In keeping with Mr. McGuire’s wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
